It all begins with a (mild) annoyance.
The evidence synthesis process is the basis of scientific decision making. However, the process itself is long, cumbersome, and prone to errors, leading to delays in identifying new avenues of research and real-world decisions and advice.
My start-up, Lattice Research, aims to promote robust science and faster decision making.
Together with my co-founder, Kris Rama, we are developing an integrated platform for (systematic) reviews, which reduced the time needed to complete them by 50%, the error rate by 30%, and offers a fully reproducible decision audit trail and an integrated training module.
Lattice research is enrolled in the University of Groningen incubator, Innokite, where we are acquiring the tools and know-how needed to develop a business. We are now in the pre-seed stage of funding and are actively looking for funding to perform feasibility testing.

Escape Room
Together with my co-founder and an engineer, we built two escape rooms. The Witch was a fixed-location escape room, featuring two secret rooms and a dark story to uncover. The Pioneers of Flight escape room was custom-made for a local festival and could be moved & installed anywhere.

Escape the Night
This was an event we organised on a monthly basis. Each time, players would visit a different bar or cafe. Half of their night would be taken by a treasure hunt around the location, and half would be a trivia/puzzle game played inside. Each night brought 60-100 participants.

Team Building
We organised custom corporate team buildings and quizzes.
Some of our clients included Accenture, Teo’s Cafe (national coffee chain), Hangariada (local festival).
